It's happened. I am the proud owner of a gray 2005 Ford Taurus. And she's sweet. Sunroof, CD player, leather interior, and it's all mine. Well mine & the bank's. :P
Check out the pics I snapped.

Thanks to everyone for the happy thoughts & prayers.

Flipp'n Sweeeet!
I'll take you for a spin when you come and visit! :D
I am so happy for you! :-) I can't wait to take a ride in it. Of course, you know you have to set up another "date" with dear older nephew, so he can ride too. :-) I am afraid no Chinese food this time, though.
Why no Chinese food?
Excellente!!
I'll miss your musings on public transportation, but, hey! As someone who finally had a CD player in the car too, isn't that so much better?
Something about hiss and car cassette players, it makes you think your riding with a bunch of whispering snakes. Plus, a five star front crash rating, a ride finally worthy of a Princess!
Congrats!
But I thought you wanted an Element?
WP,
I'm glad I accidentally got a safe car too since it was the sunroof & CD player that sold me. :P
And I have a few more bus stories rolling around in my head. With less stress in my life I might actually get them written.
Wes,
I did and still do, but that is a whole other post. For now let's just say that I am really, REALLY happy to have this.
But there's still an Element in my future. :D
I'm afraid Chinese food now makes older nephew sick. It has happened the last 3 times we ate Chinese. I think it may be the MSG, or some of the other seasonings. :-( So, we don't go anymore. But hey, movie and Souper Salad would be great too! :-)
Congrats, Princess, on your new royal carriage. Make sure to roll the windows up so you can't hear the cries of the peasantry.
JJ,
I have peasants?!?!
DUDE!
Hey sis, congrats. I know you wish it was the Element but at this point I know you are just glad to not have to ride the bus anymore. Love you,
t
