sweetest surrender

with a slow smile and shining blue eyes
you start to let down your guard
with a shy blush and fluttering lashes
your armour begins to crack
with a sweet word and innocent guile
i slip past all your best defenses
with a nervous giggle and soft sigh
your heart becomes mine alone
with a breathless whisper of your name
you willingly surrender yourself to me
